Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize and oversee the full production process to meet daily/weekly/monthly targets.
- Prepare and manage production schedules; ensure timely and efficient manufacturing.
- Manage and supervise production staff — including training, scheduling, performance review, and team coordination.
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and regulatory requirements (quality control, sanitation, safety).
- Monitor resource use (raw materials, labor, equipment), manage inventory and ensure efficient usage to minimise waste and cost.
- Maintain and oversee maintenance of production equipment and facility — plan for repairs, preventive maintenance to avoid downtime.
- Liaise with relevant departments (procurement, quality assurance, supply chain, logistics) to ensure smooth workflow and timely raw-material supply as well as finished-goods dispatch.
- Review production output and quality metrics; implement process improvements and corrective actions to enhance efficiency and product quality.
